Rosa’s Pizza Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 28 oz can of Rosa San Marzano Tomatoes with the D.O.P. designation.

  • About 50 grams of extra virgin olive oil

  • Dry basil - about a teaspoon

  • Dry oregano - about a teaspoon

  • 10-12 grams of sugar

Method:

  • Hand-crush the tomatoes. Yes, there will be some small pieces/chunks.

  • Add the olive oil, basil, oregano and sugar then mix with a fork.

  • Set aside in a glass jar. A quart jar is sufficient.
